Privacy policy
Price History Yid (“this site”) is a personal deals site. This page explains what information the site collects, which is very little.
What this site collects
This site has no accounts and no comments. It does not set its own cookies and does not run analytics or advertising scripts. Its one script sorts and filters the deal list in your browser and sends the email signup and deal request forms.
The web host that serves these pages may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running. I don't use those logs to identify visitors.
Deal emails
If you sign up for the weekly deals email, I store your email address and the date you signed up, only to send you those emails. I don't sell or share it.
Before the first deals email, you'll get one message asking you to confirm your address; nothing else is sent unless you confirm. Every email will include an unsubscribe link that stops all emails with one click. You can also reply “stop” or write to pricehistoryyid@mail.tab.bot and your address is deleted.
Deal requests
If you use the “Request a deal” form, I store what you typed, the date, and your email if you chose to give one, only to check the item and reply to you. I don't sell or share it.
If you email pricehistoryyid@mail.tab.bot, I keep your message only to reply to it.
Cookies
When you click a link to Amazon, Amazon may set a cookie so a purchase is credited to this site; Amazon's privacy notice covers what Amazon collects.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
